Ori just leaves them behind what is compleetly out of character for ori. If they didnt follow ori would never return and they would never know what has happened to him. Him turning into a tree would cause him to leave them behind. First off all ori has no idea naru and gumo followed him to niwen. Im not against the idea of the message the devs want to bring and im not against ori becomming a spirit tree. My second biggest issue is ori's destiny. Ku getting injured should have effects on all the other characters in what they will do after. She was just a plot device and a gameplay gimic. ![]() I hate how ku was treated here as a character. In bf the theme of parents and childeren was present trough the whole game. The second half this theme is compleetly dropped. In the first half the games theme was sybelings. Ku is just fergotten after this part and the story of niwen and main quest are dropped on to you out of nowhere. First off all ku getting injured doesnt cause any conciquences or motivations for the other characters to start saveing niwen. The second half (after ku gets injured by shreik) however is something i really dont like. I think ku ending up in sillend woods caused by oris desision would make the impact way greater. I maybe would change the reasons why ku and ori got into the storm would be beceaus of ori (him wanting to go to niwen after ku got better at flying) instaid of ku's mistake for beeing overconfident. The first half is what i would call the great part of the story. Each action a character makes results in conciquences that affect that and other characters and it makes me care for all of them. ![]() While it was a symple story all the events are nicely linked together and create a great flow.
